Medical Arts Pavilion

Three story, 650000 sq ft medical office building that Speed Steel accelerated the schedule by 10 weeks.

A competing hospital was also building a medical office building in Lufkin. That building would be in direct competition with this facility. It was extremely important to the owner of our project to be completed early enough to lease out this building before the competing Medical Office Building was complete. In September of 2003 the project was approximately six weeks behind schedule.

Speed Steel delivered an accelerated project schedule. The detailing of the structural steel began while the structural construction documents were being completed. The structural construction documents were finished early. Erection of the structural steel started three days after the architectural construction documents were complete. This accelerated the project by ten weeks and got the project on a schedule to be completed before their competition.
